To kick off the weekend fixtures, Delhi Capitals will host Mumbai Indians in the afternoon clash on Saturday, April 27, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi.
Coming into the game, hosts DC are 6th on the points table after winning 3 of their last 4 matches as they have recovered somewhat from some poor opening games. On the other hand, after some troubles on and off the field, MI find themselves in a spot of bother, sitting 9th in the table with only three wins so far in the season.

When DC and MI last met in IPL 2024
For the last time in the current season, these two teams met in match number 20 at Wankhede, Mumbai. As soon as Delhi team asked Mumbai to bat first, DC crawled away as the hosts put up an opening partnership of 80 runs. With a brilliant recovery, only 103 runs were conceded in the period of 7-18 overs.
Captain, Hardik Pandya struggled for his 39 (33), but thanks to Tim David’s 45*(21) and Romario Shepherd’s ballistic unbeaten 39 off 10 balls, MI finished with 234/5.
During the chase, veteran David Warner could not get on top, while Prithvi Shaw, albeit slowly in the context of the game, scored his first half-century of the season. Shaw and Abhishek Porel made a partnership of 88 runs before the right-handed batsman was dismissed.
Tristian Stubbs tried his best to chase the total with 71*(25) but could not cross the boundary. The ever-reliable Jasprit Bumrah saved the day for MI with 2/22 from his four overs and Gerald Coetzee scored a four-fer, as MI won the game by 29 runs.
