Leaked iPhone 16 dummies reveal the enormous size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

So far, we have seen several key leaks about the iPhone 16 series. Today, another major leak has surfaced, showing dummy units of all the phones in the lineup.

The picture comes courtesy of longtime Apple leaker Sonny Dixon, who previously leaked a full set of machined blanks for the iPhone 16 series. So there is a good chance that this one is the real deal.

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus

The most notable change is the camera layout for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. They will be ditching the diagonal camera setup of their predecessors in favour of a vertical setup. Whereas, there is not much change in the design of the Pro models.

The switch to vertical cameras on the standard iPhone is to support the recording of spatial videos that can be played back in 3D in Apple Vision Pro.

iPhone 16 Pro Max

Another notable change is in the screen sizes of the Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch display, making it the largest Pro Max model ever.

iPhone 16 Pro

The iPhone 16 Pro will also have a slightly larger screen at 6.3 inches, up from the 6.1 inches on the iPhone 15 Pro. However, the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will have screen sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.

Apart from these changes, the dummy unit doesn’t reveal much about the new design features. However, rumours suggest a dedicated capture button for camera control, but we don’t see that in these replicas.

As usual, we can expect the new iPhones to launch in September. While that might seem like a long wait, more leaks are likely to surface during this time.
