Xiaomi Redmi has announced its latest affordable smartphone, the Redmi Note 13R. With this latest launch, the Redmi Note 13 lineup has seven smartphones. Previously, the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, and Redmi Note 13R Pro had already launched.

The Redmi Note 13R was silently launched in China today. It is the cheapest Note 13 lineup smartphone. The device has a very similar specification to the Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G. The last year, the Redmi Note 12R was the successor to the Redmi Note 13R 5G.

The company introduced the Redmi Note 13R with a well-known budget-range 5G processor, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. It sports a 6.79-inch LCD display and has an FHD+ resolution. The display also has 550 nits of peak brightness. On the back side, it comes with a dual rear camera setup, including a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor, respectively. It sports an 8MP front-facing camera. The device has a 5,030mAh battery with 33W faster charging support. Moreover, it comes with Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.
Redmi Note 13R storage variants and prices
The Redmi Note 13R is introduced in three different colour options, including silver, midnight black, and ice crystal blue. The devices launched with two storage options, including 6GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. These variants cost CNY 1,399 yuan and CNY 2,199 yuan, respectively, in China.
