Audi is preparing to join the electric arms race with its RS6 Sportback e-tron. Based on the new A6 e-tron, the model aims to complement the conventional internal combustion-powered RS6 (to be named RS7).

Audi RS6 E-Tron look
Like the A6 e-tron Sportback, the RS6 variant sports a muscular look. It has a faceted front face featuring Audi’s iconic ‘Singleframe’ grille, intricate honeycomb pattern on the lower air intakes and smooth horizontal fin-like vents below the split-mount LED headlights.
Other features include large alloy wheels highlighted by red brake callipers, pronounced side skirts and an aerodynamic front lip splitter. The rear is dominated by a substantial diffuser and conventional side mirrors, which replace the earlier side cameras, as well as an attractive full-width OLED light cluster.

Inside, the cabin will mirror the styling and spaciousness of the A6 e-tron Sportback and Avant, including a flat floor design for improved space. Although we haven’t seen a glimpse of the interior yet, Audi did release a teaser of the interior of the 2021 A6 e-tron concept, boasting a minimalist design with a distinct, dual-screen layout.
However, with the production model underway, it is possible that Audi may lean more towards the design of the newly introduced Q6 e-tron. This model features two vibrant OLED displays, an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster and a 14.5-inch center touchscreen, housed beneath a curved bezel, plus an optional 10.9-inch touchscreen for the passenger, all with wireless support for a classy But has a great interior. Connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Additional features should include augmented reality head-up displays and dynamic ambient lighting, enhancing functionality and ambiance.
The RS6 e-tron will feature a model-specific digital display as well as a series of sporty upgrades to distinguish it from its smaller siblings. These include a three-spoke steering wheel, bucket-style seats adorned with contrasting red stitching, and matching trim elements throughout the interior.

Audi RS6 E-Tron Engine
The RS6 Sportback e-tron is built on Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which is shared with the Porsche Macan EV. It has an 800-volt system and a robust 100 kWh battery pack, capable of up to 435-mile range (700 km) under the WLTP cycle (in lower variants – the RS6 is likely to have less range).
The architecture supports DC fast charging up to 270kW, instantly alleviating any range concerns. The platform also integrates sport-oriented adaptive damping and air suspension to ensure a smooth and comfortable driving experience.

While the standard A6 e-tron offers various motor configurations, including a base single motor and a dual motor setup with 469 hp (350 kW / 476 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 N⋅m) of torque from 0 to 100 km/h Is. (62 mph) in under four seconds, expect the RS6 to push the limits.
