Xiaomi rolled out August security patches with HyperOS version 1.0.7.0.UNPMIXM for POCO F6. And POCO M6 Pro users can identify the update with HyperOS version 1.0.4.0.UNFEUXM. The remaining countries or regions will get the same update soon.
While the POCO F6 is only getting August Android 2024 security patches, the POCO M6 Pro is getting lock screen optimizations. However, security patches should be installed as soon as possible to ensure device security.
Moreover, both devices are from different segments. Where the POCO F6 is a midrange device, the POCO M6 Pro comes in the budget category. Anyway, POCO users can check the latest software update by heading to System Settings >> About Phone >> Now tap on the HyperOS version number.
