How BeaconLink feature works?

BeaconLink is a Bluetooth-based voice call feature that can make voice calls without a network. As it works with Bluetooth, both nearby devices have Bluetooth.

Also, its maximum communication distance is approximately 200 metres, but the actual communication distance may vary depending on the specific scenario.

The company has not mentioned whether this feature will be available on other smartphones with ColorOS 14.1. However, we can assume that this useful feature will be available for premium ColorOS 14.1-based devices.

However, the ColorOS 14.1 update is yet to be rolled out for OPPO and OnePlus devices. The feature could be available on upcoming OnePlus and Realme premium devices.

Moreover, the Oppo Reno 12 series has several more interesting features. The Reno 12 series was already launched in China and was recently available in Europe. It is also expected that the series will also be introduced in India.
