Samsung has started rolling out the December 2024 update for the Galaxy A55 5G. As of now, it is available to download in Europe; other regions will also get the update soon. The device is eligible for a monthly security update, but the last time it was received was for the October 2024 update.

Galaxy A55 5G users are receiving the December 2024 update with the firmware version A556BXXU6AXL2. The download package size of the new update is around 304.19 MB. The update brings new improvements along with December 2024 Android security patches.
