The latest update for the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G was spotted with version number A556EXXS4AXF6 in India and Egypt. The July update has a download size of 223.66 MB. It includes the July 2024 Android security patch, which improves the overall security of the device.
Apart from the security patches, this type of monthly update also comes with several improvements for the device. The July update also makes sure to make the device more stable. Galaxy A55 5G users received the June update a few days ago, and now they are getting the July update.

The Galaxy A55 supports seamless updates, so the OTA updates can be installed in the background. If you want to check the update manually, you can go to Settings, then tap on Software Updates, and if the update is available, download and install it.
The Galaxy A55 5G was introduced with One UI 6.1 in March this year. It is eligible for four major updates up to Android 18-based One UI 10.1, as it was shipped with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. It is also eligible for 5 years of security support, so the device will get security support up to 2029.
