The Flagship Trio of 2024 has received the August update in many regions till now. The units in the Galaxy S24 series started receiving the update from the US. And until now, the update has spread to Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South Africa, South Korea, Latin American countries, and Australia.
However, the August update does not introduce new features. But the update comes with security patches that address over 45 vulnerabilities. Users should install monthly security patches as soon as possible. Monthly updates play a crucial role in device security.
To check the monthly update on your Galaxy devices, you can navigate to Settings, then tap on Software Updates. The system will check for the latest update, and if the update is available, download and install it.
Moreover, the Galaxy S24 series has three models, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The series was introduced in 2024 with impressive features, including Galaxy AI with Circle to Search. However, the units are still waiting for One UI 6.1.1 and One UI 7 beta updates.
