Huawei recently launched the Pura 70 series flagship phones in China. According to reports, the brand will soon shift its focus to the Nova 13 lineup, as it is expected to launch in the domestic market in June. A reliable leaker from China has revealed what to expect from the Nova 13 Pro and Nova 13 Ultra models.

The Huawei Pura 70 series has a starting price of 5,499 yuan (~$780) in China. Hence, the upcoming Nova 13 series will attract Huawei fans who are keen to buy affordable flagship Huawei phones priced around 3,000 yuan (~$415).

Another leaker, Smart Pikachu, has also claimed that the Nova 13 series will feature the Kirin 9010 chipset. Except for the standard model of the series, which will have a flat screen, the other models will have a slightly curved screen. The entire series may support 1.5K resolution. He further added that the Nova 13 series will offer a better selfie photography experience, as it is expected to feature dual front-facing cameras. Lastly, all the models are expected to support 5G connectivity.

Smart Pikachu also claimed that the Nova 13 series will run on the new HarmonyOS Next. The lineup will also feature variable aperture for the primary camera, periscope telephoto camera, and satellite connectivity support. The series is likely to be launched by the end of the second quarter of this year.
