Last year, Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola launched the Razr 40 Ultra, a flip-style foldable smartphone to compete with the Galaxy Z Flip lineup. Since the phone launched in June 2023, we expect the brand to refresh the lineup with the Razr 50 Ultra soon.

Several reports suggest that Motorola may launch the next-generation foldable soon. However, the most recent report gives us some information about the price of the phone.

According to a report by DealnTech, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was listed on a European retailer’s website. The model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage was priced at EUR 1200. When converted to Indian currency, it costs around Rs 1,07,000. Although the phone is listed in only one model on the European website, there is a good chance that Motorola will launch it in other RAM and storage

The foldable could come in four colour options

Last year, Motorola launched the Razr 40 Ultra in four colours, including Infinite Black, Glacier Blue, Viva Magenta, and Peach Fuzz. However, its successor could come in three finishes: blue, green, and the iconic Peach Fuzz. Recently, live images of the foldable surfaced on the Internet, showing it in a black colour similar to the Razr 40 Ultra’s Infinite Black finish.

Moreover, the image also revealed the presence of a hole-punch display. We also know that the phone has surfaced on multiple certification websites, bearing the model number XT2453-1. Furthermore, it looks like the Razr 50 Ultra will borrow its design and look from its previous model. For those who are updated, the Razr 40 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch pOLED foldable screen, a 3.6-inch pOLED cover screen, and runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. However, this is just a speculation as there is no information or concrete rumour from the brand. However, the European pricing seems a bit high compared to the Indian market, where the Razr 40 Ultra started at Rs 89,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
