Nothing OS 2.6 rolling out for Nothing Phone 2

The much awaited Nothing OS 2.6 update, the same software upgrade that is available in the CMF Phone 1, is now being released for the Nothing Phone 2. Nothing has changed the changelog on their community forum website as of the time of writing. There was a new swipable Date Widget in the initial edition. The changes could pertain to the CMF Phone 1, which was released alongside Nothing OS 2.6.

After the Developer previews For the Phone 2, Nothing is getting ready for the Android 15 beta programme. In the meanwhile, the company’s monthly software update, built Nothing OS 2.6 for the Phone (2), was launched and is currently rolling out with various bug fixes, upgrades, and new quality of life features.

The latest update also comes with the latest Android security patch. It includes the July security patch to ensure the overall security of the devices. Nothing OS 2.6 update for Phone 2 comes in a download package size of 87.30 MB.

    • Fixed an issue where some apps could not use the Cloned Apps feature properly.
