OnePlus has started rolling out the August update for the OnePlus 12. The latest update comes with some improvements and optimizations. Additionally, the update includes a new switch to hide or show status bar media playback information.

The latest update for OnePlus 12 includes Android 2024 August security patches. These patches help the device maintain its security. As per the screenshot, it improves the scrolling screenshot user experience. Also, the update optimizes the face verification feature to ensure a higher level of security.
Users can identify the August update with software version CPH2573_14.0.0.840 (ΕΧΟ1) for the OnePlus 12. The update has a download package size of 1.28 GB. The update is spotted in India; other countries will also get the update soon.
