OnePlus 8T users, we have great news for you. OnePlus is rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 8T smartphone. With this new update, the OnePlus 8T is getting many new features, including fingerprint unlock without waking up the screen.

The new update allows users to adjust the volume for individual apps based on their needs. Now OnePlus 8T users can press and hold the Volume Down button to turn the torch on when the screen is off. Also, in Drawer mode, you can enter the first letter of an app name to perform a fuzzy search from the Home screen search bar.
Software availability and new firmware version:
The latest update comes with the April 2024 Android security patch. The OnePlus 8T system’s stability also improved with the update. Users can identify the software update with the version number KB2001_14.0.0.600(EX01). The update is currently spotted in India, and it is expected to soon be available in other regions too.

The OnePlus 8T was released in October of 2020. It sports a fluid-aMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate support. The device was introduced with the powerful Snapdragon 865 5G chipset.
