The latest WhatsApp for Android comes from beta that lets you create AI images within the chat itself. Yes, you should be able to create images using AI within the chat and send them to the recipient.

The beta feature reported by the folks at WABetaInfo uses Meta AI, Meta’s AI, to understand the context, follow instructions, and create visuals based on the same. At the time of writing this, the feature is limited to a select group of users and in a few locations, however, WhatsApp is keen to roll out the feature widely.
Where can you find the new AI image generated feature on WhatsApp? The instant messaging app has made it quite easy to find and use any of its features. All you have to do is tap on the ‘safety pin’ icon at the bottom-right corner next to the chat box and select ‘Imagine’. Now you don’t have to rummage through photo galleries or surf the internet to find the perfect GIF or picture for any personal or group chat.

The AI image generating feature on WhatsApp is set to revolutionize the way you express yourself in chats. The feature is part of WhatsApp beta for Android v2.24.12.4, which is available on the Google Play Store. If you can’t find the feature (which means it’s still in the works), you can use Meta AI Chat to create images and special commands in group chats until the feature is fully rolled out to the stable version.
