Xiaomi Smarter Living Product 2024: Xiaomi revealed Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10, Handheld Garment Steamer in India

During its 2024 Smarter Living launch event, Xiaomi revealed a few new products in India, including the Redmi Pad SE, Redmi Buds 5A, Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10, and Handheld Garment Steamer. The Xiaomi robot steamer and vacuum cleaner are the main topics of this piece.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10

An advanced laser navigation system is equipped with Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 for 360-degree mapping and scanning of the home. It can effectively avoid obstacles within the 8-meter scanning range. There are multiple sensors onboard, which help the robot vacuum cleaner recognize complex environments to prevent collisions or getting stuck.

The S10 offers 4,000Pa suction power and four suction options, namely Silent, Standard, Strong and Turbo. It has a 300 ml dustbin and cleans in zigzag and Y-shaped patterns for thorough and efficient cleaning. The S10’s many capabilities may be accessed and controlled using the Xiaomi Home app. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant so you can use it hands-free.

Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer

Equipped with a removable 160-ml water tank and foldable design, the Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer weighs only 775 grams. This not only allows users to use it for long periods of time without hand fatigue, but also makes it convenient to carry during travel.

The garment steamer offers 1300W continuous steam capacity and dual-heat ironing plate made of thermostatic aluminum die-casting, which effectively distributes heat and removes wrinkles from the garment. It promises 26 seconds pre-heating time. It offers a steam mode with a steam rate of 16-24 g/min and a dry ironing mode for ironing without steam.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 and Handheld Garment Steamer will be available for pre-booking in India from April 29 via Mi.com, Flipkart, and Amazon. Mi.com will host an early access sale for these devices on April 29.

The robot vacuum cleaner and handheld garment streamer are priced at Rs 19,999 (~$240) and Rs 2,299 (~$27) respectively. The former price includes a discount of Rs 1,000 using HDFC and SBI Bank credit cards and credit card EMI transactions.
