OnePlus is preparing to roll out its next major software update, ColorOS 17, based on Android 17. While the new update is expected to arrive in the coming weeks with new features, performance improvements, and AI-powered capabilities, not every OnePlus device will be eligible to receive it.
For several smartphones and tablets, OxygenOS 16 (Android 16) marked the final major Android upgrade. As a result, these devices have reached the end of their software upgrade lifecycle and will not receive the upcoming ColorOS 17 update.
If your device is listed below, it will continue to receive security updates for a limited period, but it won’t get Android 17, new user interface improvements, or the latest AI features introduced with ColorOS 17.

The above list is based on OnePlus‘ official software update policy for each device. These models have already received their final promised Android version with OxygenOS 16, making them ineligible for future major operating system upgrades.
